Storytime with the Gratiaen Trust

Celebrating Children's Day with a fun event for ages 6-12

Encourage a love for reading and creative storytelling in your child at our Storytime workshop on Children’s Day. Listen to enchanting stories for children by shortlisted and winning entries for the Gratiaen Prize, including:

Sybil Wettasinghe - The Child in Me (winner, 1995)

Prashani Rambukwella - Mythil's Secret (winner, 2009)

Praveen Jayamanne - The Double Doorway (short listed, 2019)

Afterwards, the children will learn how to create their very own stories through an interactive and facilitated storytelling session.

Time: 11 am to 12.30 pm and 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm
