The Gratiaen Trust in association with John Keells Foundation will host a Day’s Celebration of Creative Literature and Conversation on the Arts to celebrate the Trust’s 30th year of work in promoting Sri Lankan creative writing in English and literary translations..

இலங்கையில் ஆங்கிலத்தில் படைப்பாற்றலுடைய எழுத்தாக்கங்களையும், இலக்கிய மொழிபெயர்ப்புகளையும் ஊக்குவிக்கும் தனது பணியின் 30வது வருடத்தை கொண்டாடவென கிரேஸியன் ட்ரஸ்ட் ஆனது ஜோன் கீல்ஸ் பவுண்டேசனுடன் இணைந்து படைப்பாற்றலுடைய இலக்கிய மற்றும் கலைகளுக்காக ஒரு தினத்தை அனுட்டிக்கவுள்ளது.

10am to 12 noon: The Art of Detail. A workshop by Shyam Selvadurai.
Join Shyam Selvadurai for an English creative writing workshop on ‘The Art of Detail’.
To register - send in your bio and a 2 paragraph (250 words) personal statement on why you want to be a part of the workshop by the 15th of March 2023 to [email protected]
20 participants will be selected for the workshop hosted by the Gratiaen Trust.
The selection of participants by the Gratiaen Trust will be final.
மு.ப. 10- நண்பகல்12 - விபரங்களின் கலை : ஷியாம் செல்வதுரை நடாத்தும் ஒரு செயலமர்வு. ஆங்கிலத்திலான படைப்பாற்றலுடைய எழுத்தாக்க ‘விபரங்களின் கலை’ செயலமர்வில் ஷியாம் செல்வதுரையுடன் இணைந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.
பதிவினை மேற்கொள்ள - உங்களைப் பற்றிய விபரங்களுடன், இச்செயலமர்வில் பங்குபற்ற விரும்பும் காரணத்தை 2 பந்திகளில் (250 சொற்கள்) எழுதி, 15 பங்குனி 2023 இற்கு முன்பதாக [email protected] என்ற மின்னஞ்சலிற்கு அனுப்பி வைக்கவும். கிரேஸியன் ட்ரஸ்ட் இனால் நடாத்தப்படும் இச்செயலமர்வுக்கு 20 பங்குபற்றுநர்கள் தெரிவு செய்யப்படுவர். பங்குபற்றுநர்களின் தெரிவில் கிரேஸியன் ட்ரஸ்ட் இன் முடிவே இறுதியானது.

1pm - 1.45pm: Poetry to Music, Music to Poetry: Performance Poetry by Vivimarie Vanderpoorten and Aathmaa Jafir, along with Shankaranathan Vimlashankar on Tabla, and Gopalkirushnan Sathiyan on the Shahi Baaja.
Open to the public, free admission, no registration required.
பி.ப 1- 1.45 – கவிதை வழி இசைக்கு, இசை வழி கவிதைக்கு: விவிமேரி வென்டர்பூர்டன் மற்றும் ஆத்மா ஜாபிர் உடன், சங்கரநாதன் விம்லசங்கர் தபேலா இசைக்க கோபால்கிருஸ்ணன் சத்யன் சாஹி பாஜா வாசிக்க நிகழ்த்தும் கவிதையாற்றுகை.

திறந்தநிகழ்வு, அனுமதிஇலவசம், பதிவுசெய்யத்தேவையில்லை
2pm - 3.30pm: Creativity, Conversation, Crisis: A Roundtable Discussion on Contemporary Sri Lankan Literature in English and the Arts. Panelists: Shyam Selvadurai, Vivimarie Vanderpoorten, Nilani Joseph, Aathmaa Jafir, moderated by Dr. Thiruvarangan Mahendran.
Open to the public, free admission, no registration required.
பி.ப 2- 3.30– படைப்பாற்றல், சம்பாஷணை, நெருக்கடி: இலங்கையின் சமகால ஆங்கில இலக்கிய மற்றும் கலைகளின் மீதான வட்டமேசைக் கலந்துரையாடல். குழுவினர்: ஷியாம் செல்வதுரை, விவிமேரி வென்டர்பூர்டன், நிலானி ஜோசப், ஆத்மா ஜாபிர். நெறிப்படுத்துபவர் திருவரங்கன் மகேந்திரன்.

4pm - 6pm: Open Mic: Open to anyone who wants to share poetry, short fiction, and extracts of plays in the language of their choice.
No registration required. Event is open to public, free of charge.

பி.ப 4- 6 : திறந்த ஒலிவாங்கி நிகழ்வு
இந் நிகழ்விலே பங்கேற்போர் தமக்கு விருப்பமான‌ மொழியில் கவிதை, குறும் புனைகதை, குறு நாடகங்களின் ஒரு பகுதியைப் பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு வாசித்து/ஆற்றிக் காட்ட முடியும்.
இது ஒரு திறந்தநிகழ்வு. அனுமதி இலவசம். முற்பதிவு செய்யத்தேவையில்லை.
