A community event for
Poetry Writers

Bringing together a group of English poetry writers in Sri Lanka, The Poetry Open Mic is a platform where there won't be a difference between audience and performer but a community of poetry enthusiasts sharing their work and ideas.

Only 25 slots will be available and will be on a first come first serve basis. Each person will read aloud between 2 to 5 stanzas of their original poetry.

The original poetry you intend to read must be submitted in the attached Google registration form. Failure to fill out the form correctly will also lead to disqualification.

Dates: 28th May, 4 pm

Venue: Teatalk, Park Road, Colombo 5

Qualifying age group: 14 plus

Registrations open on the 16th of May.
