·      Learn from accomplished Sri Lankan translators

·      Discuss the art of rendering literature from Sinhala or Tamil into English.

·      Participate in online readings

·      Discuss the publication of literary translations

·      Date 6th March 2021

Entry Requirements

·      Proficiency in English, and Sinhala or Tamil

·      Proficiency in working with Zoom

·      Good digital literacy and access to good internet and computer facilities

·      Participants must be Sri Lankan citizens and resident in Sri Lanka

Applications:

·      A short CV with postal address, email address and mobile phone number

·      A sample translation by the applicant of a poem / scene of a play / short story / short section of a novel. Include relevant extracts from the original source text.
